We aim at forging a progressive future-oriented movement working towards building an egalitarian society in Sri Lanka. This can only be achieved by empowering the society and the individual being mobilized through collective action. Such collective action needs to be based on the firm principles of social justice, economic equity, ethnic harmony and participatory democracy at all levels. It will be reinforced with the primacy of shared values for the whole of society, rather than catering to and enriching a few at the expense of the rest of the society. The task of rallying people to achieve this aim will not be a short-term activity, but a task that needs to be based on an agreed principled policy platform for an alternative government. This website presents a draft policy platform that we have been developing for your consideration since mid-2016.
