Throughout our lives in both Sri Lanka and Australia, Chitra and I have shared a deep passion for gardening — cultivating flowers, vegetables, and fruit whenever our family and community commitments allowed. Though age has slowed us both, we continue to tend our gardens as our bodies and time permit. During our years in Australia, we have lived in eleven different places, and what follows highlights some of the gardens we have nurtured along the way.
